AECE Kicks Off the Fall 2026 with a Coffee & Chat

AEC Directors and graduate students gather to welcome the fall term and connect around the Centre’s upcoming activities and initiatives.

The Assessment and Evaluation Centre in Education (AECE) welcomed the fall semester with a Coffee & Chat session, bringing together AEC Directors, graduate students, and student leaders for an afternoon of conversation and connection.

The session provided an opportunity for members of the AEC community to come together at the beginning of the academic year, exchange ideas, and learn more about the Centre’s plans and activities for the coming term. Attendees were introduced to the AEC’s fall calendar, including upcoming events, initiatives, and opportunities for students and members of the broader assessment and evaluation community to engage with one another.

Beyond sharing information about the year ahead, the gathering created space for informal conversations across different areas of the AEC community. Connecting students, student leaders, graduate students, and Centre Directors is an important part of fostering a collaborative community and supporting opportunities for learning and professional development.

The AEC is looking forward to building on this momentum throughout the fall through a range of events, activities, and opportunities for engagement.
We extend our thanks to everyone who joined us on September 8 and helped make the Coffee & Chat a successful start to the academic year.

We look forward to a year of continued learning, collaboration, and connection within the AEC community.
