Katrina Carbone, PhD, OCT, is an Assistant Professor of Assessment and Evaluation in the Mitch and Leslie Frazer Faculty of Education at Ontario Tech University.

Katrina's research focuses on assessment and evaluation in K–12 and higher education, with particular interests in assessment identity, authentic assessment, technology-enhanced assessment, community-engaged evaluation, and equity-oriented educational practice. Drawing on her experience as an Ontario Certified Teacher and educational researcher, Katrina examines how assessment and evaluation can better support student learning, motivation, and belonging. Her work is grounded in a commitment to relational and participatory approaches to research and evaluation.
